Warranty Information

If within the warranty time limits described below, a product or any of its components fail, the original user-owner must contact an authorized Pelton & CraneTM dealer with the product sale and service records. Should the dealer not be able to complete the repair, the dealer may contact Pelton & Crane for disposition. The product’s model and serial number, the installation date and the Pelton & Crane invoice number must be furnished. Transportation charges to and from Pelton & Crane, if necessary, must be paid by the dealer. If upon receipt at the factory, an examination reveals faulty or defective original parts, materials, or workmanship, Pelton & Crane will, at its sole discretion, rebuild or replace.
This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, abuse, accident, neglect or damage caused by the use of replacement parts which were not manufactured or distributed by Pelton & Crane. Usage of Replacement Parts not manufactured or distributed by Pelton & Crane will nullify this warranty. Unauthorized alterations or repairs made outside of the Pelton & Crane factory will nullify this warranty.

All chairs, lights, delivery systems, cabinets, stools, and related equipment sold and installed by authorized Pelton & Crane dealers are warranted to be free from defects in parts, workmanship and materials for five (5) years from date of purchase. The warranty includes a one (1) year warranty on normal expected service items on all equipment such as but not limited to: filters, o-rings, hoses, HVE valves, SE valves, combo valves, lens shields, and syringes (all light bulbs and lamps are excluded from this warranty). Non-standard upholstery options do not carry a warranty. See table below for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) add-on accessories.

Add-on accessories carry their own specific manufacturer’s warranty. For any Add-on accessory not manufactured by Pelton & Crane, please contact the OEM for service and specific warranty details. The following table is accurate at the time this catalog was published.

*Lamps are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship at the time of installation in an electrical circuit having the correct characteristics. The useful life of lamps is not covered under warranty.

Replacement parts and accessories are warranted for a period of ninety (90) days after purchase from Pelton & Crane. Repairs or replacements shall not interrupt or prolong the term of the original warranty.

VRG shall warrant its dental waterline treatment systems and other systems for a period of two (2) years from the date of installation, or thirty (30) months from the date of manufacture, whichever comes first. Treatment filtration elements subject to varying types of water conditions are not warranted for performance due to fouling by local water conditions but are warranted for defects in materials and workmanship. Please see owner’s manual for additional warranty details and exclusions.

Pelton & Crane will not be responsible for dealer or service company labor charges, or shipping costs. Claims for shipping damage must be filed with the carrier. THIS WARRANTY IS VALID ONLY WHEN THE ORIGINAL OWNER-OPERATOR COMPLETES AND RETURNS THE WARRANTY REGISTRATION CARD PROVIDED WITH THE PRODUCT AT TIME OF PURCHASE OR WITHIN TEN (10) DAYS OF INSTALLATION.

No goods shall be returned without prior permission by Pelton & Crane. If permission is granted for the return of goods, the amount of credit issued, if any, will be at the sole discretion of the Pelton & Crane home office in accordance with established policies.

All goods returned to Pelton & Crane must have a Return Authorization (“RA”) number. An RA number is obtained via the RA database: www.pelton.net/ra and the form must be completed in full. An RA number is authorization to return goods to Pelton & Crane for evaluation only. RA numbers are valid for ninety (90) days. The decision to issue credit will be made upon evaluation of the returned goods.

If a return for credit is authorized, a 25% restock fee will be charged on all catalogued items and a 75% restock fee will be charged on all custom and/or special color orders. Goods can only be returned to Pelton & Crane for restock within one hundred and eighty (180) days of invoice date. The customer is responsible for any freight costs.
